Dimensional Mail for Auto Dealers
This is extremely eye catching and interactive for your customers.
It’s hard not to check out a mailer that looks important or has some function to it that you just “have to try out”.
These can include pop up / fold outs, other tactile mailers that are textured, overstuffed, etc. as well.
Contests & Promotions
An old school direct mail tactic was to include scratchers with prizes or discounts. Some dealerships would raffle off a car and mail out keys to prospective customers who had to come in and try out the key on a car and if it started then they’d win the car.
So obviously this type of mailer needs to be planned in combination with a contest or promo but they work extremely well!
Live Events
Matching your direct mail piece to the look and feel of your live events will draw more attention to the mailer and get more people attending. For example, let’s say you are hosting a Free or $1 Car Wash Weekend event, your direct mail could include a die-cut embossed bubbled bi-fold card that showcases a dirty car transforming into a vehicle that looks pristine.
This will capture their attention and get them to come out.
